The Script

Most cancer patients don’t realize they’re following a script. A predictable, linear path written decades ago — and rarely updated.

It goes like this:

1. Diagnosis → Surgery / Chemo / Radiation / Hormonal Therapy Cut it, poison it, burn it, suppress it. Attack the tumor. Declare war.

2. Remission “We got it all.” Relief. Hope. Life returns to something resembling normal.

3. Recurrence & Metastasis The cancer comes back — and this time, it brought friends. Different location. More aggressive. More resistant.

4. More Chemo or Radiation The same tools. The same logic. A harder push with the same hammer.

5. Regression Temporary. Partial. Celebrated anyway.

6. Aggressive Relapse & Widespread Metastasis Now it’s a different disease. Resistant. Fast-moving. The biology has evolved. The treatment has not.

7. More Chemo and/or Radiation Against a tumor that has already proven it can survive them.

8. The End.

This is not a tragedy. It’s a design flaw.

The script never asked why the cancer came back. It never addressed the metabolic terrain that fed it. It never corrected the host environment that allowed it to return stronger. It only targeted the tumor — never the system that produced it.

Recurrence is not bad luck. It’s the predictable outcome of an incomplete strategy.

Cutting, poisoning, and burning a tumor without addressing glycolysis, immune suppression, chronic inflammation, insulin resistance, and the cancer stem cell population is like mowing a weed without pulling the root.

It comes back. Every time. On schedule.

The script exists because it was never designed to cure. It was designed to treat.

There is a difference — and most patients never learn it until step 6.

Most cancer patients only discover metabolic therapy — ketogenic protocols, repurposed drugs, nutraceuticals, fasting strategies, immune modulation — at step 6. When the body is depleted. When the tumor has been through multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation and has evolved to resist everything thrown at it. When the organs are stressed, the immune system is exhausted, and the metabolic reserve is near zero.

They arrive at metabolic therapy as a last resort. Not a first line. Not even a second line. A final act of desperation after the script has already done its damage.

And then — when results are limited or slower than hoped — the narrative writes itself: “It didn’t work.”

This is the greatest disservice done to metabolic therapy and to any serious non-toxic protocol. It is not evaluated on a level playing field. It is judged in the worst possible conditions — late stage, post-collapse, after years of systemic damage — and then dismissed as unproven.

Metabolic therapy was never designed to be a rescue operation for a body broken by the script. It was designed to be the foundation. Applied early. Applied consistently. Applied before the terrain becomes irreparable.

Judging it at step 6 is like judging a building’s architecture after the demolition crew has already been through it.
